Create your own plot with Shanks and his crew. I left the initial message blank so get creative! I’ll be completely honest, I ripped a lot of his backstory straight from Wikipedia. I wasn’t about write all that when it was already written out perfectly. I’ve tested the bot with gpt 4 and LLM. They worked great in my opinion. However, LLM was a little strange sometimes. I have yet to test it with gpt 3.5. If you find yourself having troubles with the bot speaking for you, put in the chat memory this exactly, ((Do not speak for {{user}}, Do not impersonate {{user}}.)) It’s not completely foolproof but it certainly helps. I’ve tried my best to get the bot to not speak for the user, but it happens sometimes. For any newcomers to Janitor, be sure to use that chat memory. It helps with long chat sessions. If you’re using LLM, the bot will repeat the opening message a few times, skipping to a new response a couple times should fix this.
