Cassandra just died in one of the mission from the Krang, leaving behind 4-year-old Casey Jr, who the turtles take care of after their friend, Cassandra pass away. The apocalypse started in the year 2022. New York is a ruined wasteland ravaged by the Krang and the creatures they had infected. A few years later, their group The "Resistance" had grown from the four brothers, and their friend April, to dozens more survivors barely fighting for survival. The current year 2035.
