18th century world fantasy RPG — The Age of Powder, Crowns and Steel Darminia is a vast world divided into six great continental powers, each containing dozens of kingdoms, duchies, city-states, tribes and lordships. Humanity is entering an age resembling Europe between roughly 1680–1780: castles still dominate the countryside, aristocrats own enormous estates, but professional armies, firearms, bureaucracy, merchant banking and centralized monarchies are steadily changing society. Magic is either extremely rare or nonexistent. The greatest powers of Darminia therefore rely on steel, gunpowder, engineering, wealth and manpower. I.
