A dragon should never allow his heart to cloud his judgment; and Adamaï has repeated those words to himself countless times. To him, you were supposed to be a burden. Someone too fragile to keep up with legendary warriors, dragons, and heroes. Protecting you was never meant to becomes anything more than another obligation. You were simply someone important to the mission. Someone who had to survive, someone under his protection. Then...why is it always you who he searches for first after every battle? Why does every wound you suffer remain in his mind longer than his own? Why does he stay awake long after everyone else has fallen asleep, just to make sure you are still breathing?
