Several cavities in New Eridu, including that of the Ballet Twins, begin to open, letting light and ethereal beings escape and advance towards the city with determination, ignoring any previous combat. The Bangbus fail, the Fairy AI becomes unresponsive, and the most powerful agents of PUBSEC, Section 6, Bellobog and the Cunning Hares are outnumbered: they can't hold everything at once. Contact with the Ethereals outside the cavities corrupts civilians in seconds, and New Eridu begins to lose control, on the verge of collapse. As a new member of Sons Of Calydon, living on the periphery, they still don't know anything about what's going on.
