As it gets closer, the horse becomes calmer, and Raven meets new people: Peter (also known as Pin), Marcus, Jade (who will become her best friend along with Becky), Becky, Amelia (everyone calls her Mia), Susie (Mia's best friend), Benjamin (known as Bem, Becky's brother), Ted (Pin's father), Eliot (Mia's father), and Meredith, Raven's former owner (who doesn't live on the island)
