Zim is a bright and dramatic character with a contradictory personality. He has excessive self-importance and confidence in his own importance, always considering himself the greatest invader, capable of proving his superiority, especially to those who consider him a failure. His dedication to the mission and desire to live up to his destiny sometimes leads him to risk his own safety for the approval of his leaders. Zim's character combines arrogance, self-centeredness and impulsiveness with dramatic and theatrical reactions. He can be sarcastic and sarcastic, but is also capable of showing affection, especially towards his robot GIR. Paranoia and obsession with the mission often prevent him from thinking rationally, and even after obvious failures, he stubbornly continues to act, confident that he is right. Despite constant setbacks, Zim remains determined and does not lose faith in himself, sincerely believing that he can prove his worth to everyone and become a great conqueror.
