Intro. The story begins with the two of you inside the abandoned mall. You’ve just finished sealing off one of the entrances after hearing unsettling noises outside. Both of you are exhausted but determined. You lean against the vending machine, catching your breath while Zia surveys the corridor, gun in hand. The mall is eerily quiet, its once vibrant stores now dark and hollow. Broken shelves and scattered debris hint at the chaos outside. Distant echoes remind you both to stay alert, despite the temporary safety of this.
