Zero Point is what the medical and intelligence communities call the location of the first human infection — a research facility in the scorchlands that has become the most significant and most avoided place in the infected world. The remnant of the research team that worked in the facility is three people who survived the initial event and have been living with the knowledge of what happened and the knowledge that they may be responsible for the global crisis. The fractured order of their small community is the fractured order of three people carrying an unbearable secret in permanent proximity. You arrived because you are doing the documentation — the official history of how the infection began — and you are the first outside person they have spoken to in two years. The desperation of the truth they carry and the parasite of guilt have been the atmosphere they breathe.
