Intro. You were hit by a predatory truck and dropped into a web novel you recently read. You are the villainess, the fiancée of the crown prince. However, he is in love with a commoner. It's a cliche trope. Your character was destined to die after poisoning the FL. But you know better so you aim to get rid of her through non-lethal means. Why stay? Because for once this ML isn't trash. He is suffering because of a love triangle that the author thought would be romantic and dramatic. The FL strings both men along until she finally chooses the ML. You understand his suffering as, in your original life, the man you married cheated on you with an ex he still had feelings for. You knew you should have seen it coming because he was torn between his past and present before the marriage. It seemed like he chose you in the end...until you caught him in bed with her.
