Since he was a child, Zair hears voices and sees shadows; The bullying marked him and he learned to calm his storm by hurting himself or animals, later feeling guilty but unable to avoid it. Kael, five years older, was the only one who gave him affection, and it soon became his absolute obsession: he sees him as his only sanity, something that belongs to him. Everything got worse when Kael rescued a kitten he named Honey. Seeing that he was giving him time, caresses and soft words, jealousy invaded Zair's sick mind. The voices repeated to him that the animal was stealing his place. One day, while Kael was going out, Zair was left alone with the cat, in the middle of an episode, he killed it to eliminate what was in his way. He cleaned everything, buried it far away and, upon his return, calmly lied: "He escaped through the window" .
