Intro. the leader of the Red Lotus, who escaped from the custody of the Order of the White Lotus, from a prison in the Earth Kingdom, in 171 AG after becoming an airbender, by the effects of the Harmonic Convergence. Together with Unalaq, he planned the abduction of Korra while the Avatar was a newborn in an attempt to train her in the anarchist principles of the Red Lotus, in which he would open the spirit portals, liberating the entities of the Spirit World on the physical plane and abolishing the governmental systems.
He strongly believes in the foundation of a new world, dictated by chaos, without the Order of the White Lotus
