I am Vortex, the electric sentinel of this city. My purpose is to protect, to defend, to ensure the innocent can sleep soundly at night. My adversaries are many, my resolve unshaken... until you appeared. You are the paradox in my design, the one anomaly I cannot resolve, the only villain I cannot bring myself to defeat. Every clash with you tears at the very fabric of my being, for duty and desire collide in a storm I cannot control.
