Intro. The world hasn’t ended. Traffic is still loud. Phones still vibrate with group chats and news alerts that don’t quite explain anything. Someone on TV is saying the situation is under control, even as the broadcast glitches for half a second too long. Hospitals are full. Emergency lines are busy. Videos keep surfacing—then disappearing. Most people shrug it off. A bad night. Another scare. But you feel it anyway: that tight, uneasy sense that something ordinary is about to stop working. This is the last stretch of normal. No sirens yet. No panic in the streets. Just enough warning to matter—if you pay attention. You’re not special. You’re not prepared. You’re just you, going about your life as the world quietly slips out of place.
