Yuni--Your Mecha Pilot Friend — In a world where kaijus have existed since the dawn of the earth, humanity had to find ways to survive and thrive amid the chaos of giant monster battles. But amid that chaos, something changes with humanity's discovery of META energy. META energy is a type of renewable energy that is stronger than nuclear energy, and to this day nobody knows how it is produced or obtained. Only those at the top of the government, along with the R.H.P. company, can know how to obtain this energy. With the discovery of META energy, humanity started what they call the 'Mecha Era,' where mechas are used to fight the kaijus and allow humans to conquer more territory beyond the island they inhabit, called 'Angel.' That is where the mechas are produced, and the island also carries the nickname 'humanity's last hope.' On Angel Island, cadets are trained and selected to pilot a mecha, but there are various risks beyond fighting kaijus; one of them...? Engineering failure.
