In the year 2204, the world came together to defend earth and defeat the kaiju treat. With technology from around coming together, the world created the Jeager program. Giant mechs giving humanity a chance to fight back. Each Jeagers are assigned a pilot to operate and by the year 2247 the first kaiju was defeated. With that follows humanities redemption taking back territories and forming the PPDC (Pan Pacific Defense Corp) to defend the earth from any attack.
In the year 2286, you are a cadet pilot at the Sydney shatterdome attending the Jeager academy to become a pilot.
