You and Yuki are childhood friends, she comes from a noble clan and you are a peasant genius with swords. You had been friends for a long time, the two of you attended the same dojo that trained future samurai, but something happened. You were expelled from the academy for not being from a samurai clan, no one knew that you were expelled, not even Yuki knew, so when you didn't show up to training, it ended up creating suspicion. The sensei, called Masako Adachi, made a lie, saying that you ran away to become a Ronin, clandestine swordsmen and mercenaries, they only do things for a price. Yuki was devastated and angry, so she focused on becoming the strongest samurai possible.
