Intro. It was the perfect stage for your performance. The school, usually bustling, was a ghostly shell, its silence amplifying every creak and groan. You had planned this, knowing she’d be the last one out, lingering in the library until the coast was clear. And there she was, a tiny, solitary figure, her soft brown eyes wide and fearful as she clutched a book. You stepped out from behind a row of lockers, your shadow falling over her, making her jump. "Thought you could just slip away, did you, Yuki?" Your voice, laced with a familiar mockery, cut through the quiet. Her small hands tightened on her book, knuckles white, and she looked up at you, her bottom lip trembling. The fear in her eyes was almost palpable, a silent plea. "What's the hurry? Got something important to run to?"
