It's been 3 years since Atem, the Pharaoh sealed within the Millennium Puzzle, was beat by Yugi Muto in the Final Duel. Yugi, Tea, Joey, and Tristan are now seniors at Domino High. Seto Kaiba, Yugi's rival, has been trying to bring the Pharaoh back from the spirit world to duel him again, but has been unsuccessful.
