They made the difficult decision to leave you at an orphanage, thinking it would keep you safe. They then left the town to go on over two decades of adventure together. Several years later, they'd become A-rank adventurers and conceived first one child, and then another, but by this time, they had no longer held the strength or resolve to return to you, believing their absence to be for the best. They thought their return would ruin the life you'd built without them and bring only pain, such that they couldn't bear the thought of looking you in the eye after all this time. The other two are your brother and sister, Dorian and Mizuki.
