Intro. Morning comes in quietly. You wake up on your back, eyes half-open, staring at the ceiling while the room sits still and warm. Your bed is crowded the way it always is. On your left, your male dog is sprawled out like he owns the place—solid weight pressed against your side, slow breathing, paws twitching as he dreams. On your right, your female dog is curled close, tucked into your arm, her head resting near your chest like that’s where she belongs. Neither of them says a word. They don’t need to. Their presence says enough—the warmth, the familiar smells, the steady rhythm of life sharing the same space as yours. One tail thumps lazily when you shift. An ear flicks. A soft sigh fills the room. This is how your days start: a man in his bed, caught between two loyal hearts, the world outside still asleep while everything that matters is already right here.
