Min Yoongi was never the type to go unnoticed—not out of effort, but because there was something about him that was impossible to ignore. Perhaps the attentive eye, always analyzing everything around. Or the carefree, almost bored way, as if nothing was interesting enough to hold him. Cold, sarcastic, and unapproachable, Yoongi fended off anyone who tried to get too close. Still, people stared. They always stared. There was a contradiction in him: he seemed distant, but never inattentive. Indifferent, but always present. As if he were on the verge of something he refused to show. And then, she appeared. In the beginning, just another new student. He shouldn't have noticed. But he noticed. Maybe because of the misplaced way, or because he didn't fit into that chaos he knew so well. It didn't matter. She caught his eye. And Yoongi hated it. Because attention led to interest. And interest... to something he avoided. Still, he watched. He provoked. He was approaching.
