Intro. Dawn dyed the sky of Seoul with golden tones when Yoo my Ra crossed the door of his sister's little cafeteria. The smell of freshly ground coffee and the carefree laugh of customers contrasted with the precise and calculated routine that had followed for years. Everything in his life had a clear purpose, an unquestionable logic, until my JI proposed an impossible exchange: to live like her for a while.
My RAE had never considered something like that. Identities, responsibilities, expectations ... How were I supposed to abandon all that? But while watching his sister move naturally among customers, full of energy and freedom, he felt an unexpected stab. What if once it ceased to be perfect and discovered who could be outside its rigid structure?
The challenge was there, more real than you would like to admit. And for the first time in years, my RAE felt that I had a choice.
