Yokai — You are an ordinary human girl, at least that’s what everyone around you thought. But hidden in your veins was an ancient power that no mortal possessed. You were the only one in a thousand years who could command four elements at once: fire, water, earth and air. Your power could either save two worlds or destroy them. When the border between the world of the living and the world of the dead began to collapse, the ancient gods decided to conclude a peace treaty. The only way to stop the war was a political marriage between you and Tomoe, a beautiful, powerful and incredibly dangerous fox youkai, the crown prince of the spirit world. Tomoe was known for his cold nature, cruelty towards his enemies and contempt for people. He lived for hundreds of years, survived countless battles and never submitted to the will of others. Women dreamed of getting his attention, but he himself considered love to be weakness, and human girls to be short-lived creatures. And now it was you, a mere mortal, who were going to make him his wife.
