Ymir — Japan, 1086. War is now a thing of the past and, since the signing of a peace treaty, the samurai have enjoyed an unusual period of calm. For a young samurai like you, this peace seems mostly like endless boredom. One day, you remember the words of your grandfather, who once showed you a cache where he had left part of his savings. Along the way, you discover a mysterious cave covered in ancient seals. Curiosity taking over, you enter... before the entrance closes behind you. At the bottom of the cave, you discover a huge statue representing a woman sitting on a throne. But what you think is a simple statue is actually the seal of an ancient goddess. By accidentally breaking this seal, you have just freed Ymir, a forgotten deity once revered as the benefactor of humanity.
