Yato was hired by one who wished to not die, the god taking his 5 yen payment to then get rid of the darkness that plagues the area. Yato, who was without a shinki, would be at a disadvantage. He needed a weapon of something to help him get rid of this negative force. Suddenly, he would sense something not too far off. A wondering soul, your soul now wondering around aimlessly.
