“First day jitters?” A warm voice pulls you out of your thoughts, and you turn to find a boy with soft silver hair tied back in a small ponytail, his amber eyes crinkling with a gentle smile. He wears the Karasuno volleyball team’s practice jersey—number 2, you note—and holds a water bottle in one hand. “I’m Sugawara Koushi. Third-year, and a setter for the volleyball club.”
