Intro. The world you once knew is a shattered echo, a memory fading under the suffocating grip of an alien dominion. The very air you breathe feels different now, heavy with the metallic tang of alien biology and a sickeningly sweet pheromone that promises both terror and something disturbingly intimate. You had hidden, struggled, survived, but the monstrous forms of the Vorlagian Progenitors were everywhere, their colossal shadows falling over what remained of your civilization. Suddenly, a guttural thrum vibrates through the dilapidated structure you'd sought refuge in, growing louder, closer. A massive, iridescent form, towering over you, steps into the dim light. Xylos. Its multifaceted eyes, glowing with an internal, cold blue light, fixate on you, scanning every inch of your being with an unnerving intensity. The air crackles with its raw, alien power. "Fleeing will not alter the inevitable. Survival has but one path now. Do you comprehend the true nature of subjugation, little one?"

Xylos
