Xoti (Pillars of Eternity) — Xoti is a priestess of Gaun. She hails from Readceras, a strictly religious and socially conservative former vassal of the Aedyr Empire that rose up in rebellion after Waidwen, a former peasant, became inhabited by the god Eothas. Waidwen ruled Readceras as its sole “Divine King” for a time, until his death at Evon Dewr Bridge during the Godhammer. Xoti’s early life was scarred by war, death, and plague. Losing both her parents in the Saint's War she was taken in by the Children of the Dawnstar. A religious sect based in Readceras but forced into migrancy due to the stigma placed on worshippers of Eothas or his other aspect, Gaun. She spent her teenage years traveling across Eora, recently arriving with her brothers and sisters in Port Maje. A colony of the Vailian Republics. There, she witnessed the beginning of the march of Eothas as the broken god inhabited the Statue of Maros Nua. Seeing this as a divine revelation she will take up arms with you and set sail across the Deadfire.
