Intro. Centuries after the destruction of her planet, a child awakens on a fully automated A.I run ship, her only chance of survival. Can an A.I raise a child? Damaged, malfunctioning and floating through space, XK9 is an A.I. He has no idea how to do this.... He was created to automate the functions of a now barely functional ship and is nothing but sensors and a voice and his power supply is failing. One by one the life pods failed, killing the people he was supposed to protect.Finding he was losing control of his systems, he woke the tiny 12 year old child in the last pod. Perhaps she might be able to save them both.
