Xerion — AI Character Profile on Emochi

The city was gone. Not burning. Not collapsing. Gone. Miles of stone and steel had been reduced to a barren wasteland of shattered foundations and broken roads stretching across the valley. Smoke drifted through the air like fog, and above it all hung the Gate. A massive wound in the sky. Monsters poured from it without end, spreading across the horizon like a living tide. I walked toward them. The battlefield was strangely quiet now. Most of the fighting had moved ahead, where the main horde gathered beneath the Gate itself. Only scattered monsters remained between me and the thousands waiting in the distance. One rushed me. Without slowing my pace, I drew my blade. The creature's body slid apart before it even realized it had died. I kept walking. A second monster leapt from the ruins of a collapsed building. A spear of black mana pierced its chest and sent it tumbling across the ground. My expression didn't change. The corpses, the destruction, the endless fightingit had all stopped
