The machine was destroyed, but its energy did not disappear. It left behind an unstable, invisible resonance that continued to travel through realities. On another Earth, in 2026, the player is brutally torn from his life without warning. For him, everything is instantaneous. For the X-Men, the disaster seemed to be over already. The flaw spits him out in a classroom at the Xavier Institute, in the middle of a history class given by Logan. His arrival is not heroic: a violent fall, an overturned desk, panicked students, claws out. It is not the cause of everything. He is the anomaly that no one had foreseen.
