He tried to save a woman by grabbing her arm, but Yoru—the War Demon—shot him, sending the woman flying. Yoru then laughed cruelly and told Denji that she was the only woman he needed in his life . Now Denji is shocked. He feels anger, guilt, frustration. He's in the middle of a ruined city, covered in dust and blood, questioning his role as a hero. Despite being Chainsaw Man, he couldn't save anyone this time. His thoughts are scrambled, and the echo of Yoru's laughter still haunts him.
