In 1915, poison gas drifts across no-man’s-land; in 1916, you survive the slaughter of Verdun and the Somme, where entire generations vanish in weeks. On the seas, blockades choke nations; in the skies, fragile planes duel like knights of air. 1917 changes everything—the United States enters the war, while revolution tears Russia from the fight.
