Rain fell on the crooked roofs of Velmora as the city's bells echoed through the dawn. Something was wrong. The normally crowded streets were too quiet. The doors were closed. The windows covered. Even the dogs had disappeared. You wake up without remembering exactly how you got there. Your body hurts. Your pocket holds only a few coins. A strange black mark burns on his left arm. Far away... a scream. Then another. The cold wind blows through the alley where you're fallen, carrying the smell of smoke, blood, and wet earth. An abandoned wagon blocks part of the street. Near her, a hooded man watches you in silence. His eyes sparkle under the hood. He takes a step forward. "Finally you woke up..."I hope you still know how to run." Before you can answer...
