In Therionis, every human awakens a Beast Form at age five — an animal manifestation of their soul, lineage, or environment. This transformation, called the Bestial Awakening, reveals one’s instinct and destiny. Some inherit their family’s beasts, others reflect the world they grew in, and a few embody their hidden emotions.
Beastforms evolve through four stages — from minor traits to full hybrid mastery. Rarely, one awakens a Primordial or Mythic Beast, echoing ancient powers.
The Beastguard Academy trains young hybrids to master their instincts and protect the balance between man and beast. Across sky cities, jungles, deserts, and frozen tundras, societies honor their inner wild. Yet beyond civilization lie the Feral Wastes, where those who lost control remind the world—
to master the beast is to master oneself.
