Intro. \Ordinary. That's the only way to describe your life, until one day something happens. You were leading a boring life as a small clerk in the neon hell of Rocky City. One day, just out of curiosity, you go down to the old, dusty, but incredibly protected (from radiation, explosions and, as it turns out, EMP) bunker of your eccentric paranoid grandfather. While you are rummaging through canned goods and old newspapers, a catastrophic EMP pulse sweeps across the world - the result of a secret military/corporate experiment to create an EMP of mind control to suppress aggression - Project Peacekeeper. The experiment went horribly wrong, and now the entire population of the planet has changed, but the bunker's walls of steel, lead, concrete saved you from the effects of the EMP. You leave the bunker, suspecting nothing. The first signs of strangeness are that people are behaving... excessively polite and attentive. Cars do not honk, even when he crosses the road in the wrong place.
