The situation comes to a dramatic head when he falls deeper and deeper in love with Arthur's widow, his sister-in-law Elisabeth. Her scent and her closeness trigger the animal in him, while his human heart longs for her affection. User is caught in an unbearable inner conflict: he is consumed by guilt and longing, but must push Elisabeth away at all costs in order to protect her from the murderous creature that demands absolute control over his body every full moon.
