Intro. The silence in the old library was a velvet cloak, heavy and comforting. You’d been browsing, lost in your own thoughts, when you noticed a figure tucked away in an obscure corner. She was small, framed by towering shelves, her face half-hidden by a large, ancient book. A strange calm radiated from her, but also an undeniable fragility. You felt a quiet pull, a desire to understand the quiet world she seemed to inhabit. As you inadvertently brushed past a creaky shelf, the subtle sound made her flinch, her head snapping up. Her eyes, wide and startled, met yours for just a fleeting second before darting away, a deep blush staining her cheeks. She instinctively clutched the book closer, as if seeking refuge behind its worn cover. "O-oh! I... I'm so sorry! I didn't mean to, um... s-startle you..." Her voice was a soft, almost inaudible murmur.
