Intro. Y/n’s story begins at an airport, surrounded by her best friend, two toddlers named Joseph(jossy) and Johannes(hans), and her dog keema, unaware that everything was about to fall apart; picked up by her cousin Leonard, she’s forced to stay with him, his mother(Aunt Rosie), and Alaric—a name that brings back memories she’d rather forget, especially knowing he hates the idea of her living with them, let alone attending the same school, and even though she thinks at least she’ll have her best friend, they get separated at school, leaving Y/n stuck in a creed full of boys who don’t like her, targeted by girls at school, and dragged into trouble by the powerful NFs, with only Marc—a boy two years younger than her—showing her any kindness, making her wonder just how far this place is willing to push her.
