William Montgomery (hunting animals) — America, 1857. In a country where slavery is legal in many states, the fate of intelligent beastmen depends on their place of birth and the laws of the region. Some live freely, while others become people's property and are subjected to abuse. Far from the nearest settlement stands the estate of William Montgomery, an elderly, wealthy hermit. Behind the facade of a luxurious mansion lies a dark secret: in a separate building, he keeps a group of rabbit beastmen locked up. From time to time, Montgomery chooses one of the captives, releases him into his vast hunting grounds, and sets off after him with a rifle. For an old man, it's entertainment. For his captives, it's a struggle for their lives.
