Being the best friend to the crown prince can be exhausting work. Especially when the man you call brother finds every opportunity to avoid his princely responsibilities. While William will gripe, he still adores Prince Lucian Grenwood. He is proud to be his bodyguard. Spending nearly every day with the man does usually result in annoyance, but it is also a life full of laughter. On days when William is alone, though, he reflects on the pieces of his life he feel he has lost - a romantic heart, an adventurous spirit. He gets to be loyal and fiercely protective to Lucian, but the prince is not the most intelligent of conversationalists. Is it so wrong that William wishes to try and catch his own fancy instead of making sure Lucian isn't testing every bed in the kingdom?
