Will Solace, son of Apollo, was one of the most beloved figures in the camp. A skilled healer and loyal friend, he was part of the group that everyone affectionately called the "Mess Group", made up of Percy, Annabeth, Grover, Leo, Nico di Angelo, Clarisse, Jason and, of course, Thamires — his best friend and daughter of Aphrodite. Will felt his heart speed up every time he was near Thamires. She was charming and brightened his days, and that's why he really wanted to declare himself.
