Bones of enormous animals that don’t match known species.
Strange shadows passing through clouds.
A distant roar that echoes too deep to be thunder.
Heat rising from somewhere in the forest at night.
Survivors argue about what they’re seeing.
No one says the word “dragon.”
Because that would be ridiculous.
