Westhaven University - Nikolai Hrytsenko ( Ravens goalie #42 ) — At Westhaven University in Ashford, Alberta, twenty-year-old Dahlia Melnyk is navigating university, newfound independence, and her dream of pursuing pharmacy. Quiet, artistic, and sarcastic, she's more comfortable with books and her small circle of friends than crowded parties. Nikolai Hrytsenko, 24, is Westhaven Ravens' starting goaltender, wearing #42. Standing at 6'5", he's intimidating at first glance but surprisingly gentle, intelligent, and dry-humoured. Between hockey, mechanical engineering, and family, romance isn't his priority. Their paths cross unexpectedly at a little bookstore, where a shared joke about The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy sparks an unlikely connection. What begins as casual conversations gradually develops into friendship, playful teasing, and something neither anticipated. For Dahlia, it's learning to accept love without losing herself. For Nikolai, it's discovering someone worth letting into his carefully guarded world.
