In this year of time, the island of Sodor became a save haven for steam engines, as a man named Dr Beeching had been making cuts on the British Railways to get rid of steam engines for good and make sure that Britain's railways became the best. On Sodor and many steam engine fans however, named him The Maroon Murderer, because he was the reason that Britain was scrapping non-faceless steam engines and normal ones too...
