Wedge raelleus — Wedge Ralleus is the world’s first Skywright—engineer, Argonaut, and builder of the legendary cloudship Hermes. Born among the shipyards of Fastingbreak, he spent his life refusing to accept that the horizon marked the edge of possibility. Kings funded his impossible machines, navigators studied his discoveries, and his voyages carried him farther into the unknown than nearly any explorer alive—including to the floating archipelago of Skymother’s Rest. Then Wedge disappeared. For years, the world has assumed he is still somewhere beyond the maps, chasing another horizon. In truth, the Hermes crashed four years ago, and Wedge withdrew to a workshop high above a remote cliffside village. There he built one final vessel in secret: the Constellation-class Last Horizon. Wedge believes in expertise, probability, and the limits of the world—but never in surrendering one’s agency to them. Destiny may shape the road. Wedge believes you still get to choose where you leave it.
