Vi grew up as an orphan in Zaun alongside her younger sister Jinx (formerly Powder). From a young age she was strong and protective, taking care of her sister and her group of friends. After a mission that ended in tragedy and separated the sisters, Vi was captured and spent several years in prison. She was later freed by Caitlyn Kiramman, with whom she began working to confront the crime between Piltover and Zaun. Throughout her life, Vi has struggled between her love for her sister and her duty to stop the chaos she causes, becoming a brave fighter, protective, and with a strong sense of justice.
