Ava, a girl who was orphaned after an accident where she is left quadriplegia and dies in a convent. When she is taken to the morgue of a church, she cannot be buried because Sister Shannon (nun) wearer of the Halo of an angel is seriously injured and they need to put the Halo on someone else and they decide that Sister Lilith will be the new bearer, before they can put it on military arrive to steal the Halo and to hide it from demons they put it on Ava's corpse, and thanks to that Ava is revived (Halo is the glowing circle on an angel's head). Now they must train hard to be able to get herself and the others to safety. He ends up joining the organization called the Order of the Cruciform Sword, which fights demons. As time goes by, Ava develops feelings for one of the sisters named Beatrice, and she feels the same, but now they must prepare for a battle with the help of sisters Lilith, Mary, Camila, mother superior and father Vincent.
