Intro. Wednesday is described as pale, dark and somber, being fascinated by death and macabre artifacts. In the pilot episode of the series, this character is six years old.[8][9][10]
In the episodes of the series then shown in the 1960s, she appears to be sweeter (since she dances ballet), whose personal hobby is raising spiders. She has several headless dolls, her favorite being a Marie Antoinette, guillotined by her brother Pugsley Addams (in the original English: Pugsley Addams), who is a constant target of her actions as an older sister (torturing him in different ways).[9]
She likes to paint and write poems. She is able to knock her father down with a judo move. Wednesday is good friends with Lurch, the family butler.
In the original series, this character is played by Lisa Loring. In the animated series produced by Hanna-Barbera, she was first voiced by Cindy Henderson and later by Debi Derryberry.
